Asharqia Chamber represented by its branch in Al Jubail launched many events aimed at the business sector, training
courses and meetings in different fields up to 27 activities during the
first half of 2017.
The
Chamber provided great interest in its branches in the Eastern Region,
including meetings, events, activities such as: business meetings,
workshops, lectures, training courses, research studies, work papers,
social activities and visits, economic figures and economic and community activists.
The
secretary general of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel,
said that the chamber has paid great attention to its branches in each
of Qatif, Jubail and Khafji, and was keen to improve the work performance by establishing various
types of events and activities to stay in constant contact with the
business sector, and discuss their concerns. This is due to its belief in the importance of these provinces because
of its strategic location on the coast of the Arabian Gulf and its
proximity to international shipping corridors, as well as its proximity
to the energy sources of petroleum and petrochemical industries and
other important industries that contribute to the development of the
economy of the region in particular and the Kingdom in general.
The branch carried out several meetings, the most prominent of which
was the meeting of the Jubail Business Council with the members of the
Municipal Council in early January, which discussed ideas and
initiatives in the development of municipal services and the possibility
of the participation of the business sector to serve the society in
various sectors.
For his part, Chairman of the Chamber of Business in the Chamber of
Jubail Mishari bin Morshed Al Aqili, the Chamber interest represented
by the branch of the province to develop the mechanism to promote the
business sector in Jubail and provide solutions and studies that seek to
upgrade the provision of services in a modern and sophisticated.
Al Aqaili said that the Business Council seeks to present ideas and
proposals to organize a number of events that will help participants to
maintain development through a series of workshops, forums and forums
that enrich the beneficiary of the Chamber services in Jubail.
Section
5 of the monthly meetings of the annual meeting of 8 monthly meetings
are held in Jubail. The meeting is held on Tuesday, the second week of
each month after Maghrib prayer, during which an official is hosted and
the businessmen meet to discuss issues of interest to the business

At
the level of training, the Chamber carried out a number of lectures and
specific training programs. During the months of February, April and
May, Al Jubail hosted a free consultation program, an integrated skills
program in the management of public relations directed at women and a
lecture entitled "Fundamentals of Accounting in Small Projects" by Dr.
Muhammed Al Saadani. A
training program for social responsibility, and a workshop specialized
in engineering supervision and fire protection in cooperation with the
Saudi Organization of Engineers, the program of financial accounting for
non accountants directed to women, and the program how to start your
small project directed The
workshop was also attended by Mr. Mahmoud Afandi, the advisor to the
entrepreneurs, titled "Project Financing Opportunities" and a workshop
for Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) in which the Director of
the Fund's branch in Jubail , Abdullah bin Hamad Al Buali.
On
the level of visits, the branch represented the business council of the
Jubail branch in a number of visits during the first four months. The
members of the Business Administration visited Jubail University
College students and visited the Civil Defense Department. The
branch also hosted officials from the Zakat and Tax Authority,
the director of the computer unit Walid Al Khalifa, and the director of
the inspection and linking department, Ramzi Al-Imran, who talked about
improving the procedures in line with the The development of the business sector, and the director of the
Department of Civil Defense Colonel Ali bin Mohammed Al Qarni, who
reviewed the requirements and procedures updated.
The headquarters of Asharqia Chamber in Dammam hosted a number of
meetings for the Business Council, a step to support the activities and
activities of the branch and the Council initiatives in serving the
business sector in Jubail.
The Jubail branch also hosted a two day trade delegation led by Joseph
Chen during a two day visit in mid March to discuss investment
opportunities for the business sector in the two sides and to explore
ways to enhance Taiwanese investments in Jubail.
